Flynn's girlfriend has disappeared. How can he uncover her secrets without revealing his own?

Flynn's girlfriend, January, is missing. The cops are asking questions he can't answer, and her friends are telling stories that don't add up. All eyes are on Flynn—as January's boyfriend, he must know something.

But Flynn has a secret of his own. And as he struggles to uncover the truth about January's disappearance, he must also face the truth about himself.

My Thoughts

I loved this book! I went into it only knowing that someone went missing and that it was a mystery….so pretty much all i knew was garnished from the title. (lol) I had no idea what to expect. I was extremely pleased when i figured out some of the plot points and realized that this book deals with a lot of pretty serious issues.

I really liked Flynn. I don’t want to say too much about him though because hes character is revealed throughout the book and i don’t want to spoil it. He is a great character though. I’d say the only real issue i have was his pot smoking. I am majorly against it, and think kids should make smarter choices. Other than that, he had great depth and really grew in the book.

January, the missing girlfriend, was an interesting character. All we know about her is from flashbacks and through her friends description, but from what i can see, she seemed pretty troubled and complicated. I understand that the events revealed in the book effected her…but i still think she seemed a bit wild and maybe even disrespectful/selfish. Also, i wonder about what her stepbrother said…the banana thing. I wish i could have seem more of her motive.

I def loved this book though and am excited to read more by this author. This book kind of got me on a mystery kick…i need to find another right now!!
